The major European military presence in New England is managed through the European Union Forces New England or EUFNE. EUFNE is a major component of the defence of New England against Austral-American aggression. EUFNE also acts as a rapid reaction force for deployment in the South-West Pacific and South-East Asian regions.
The EUFNE consists of about 25,000 personnel, which adds a significant deterrent to any aggressive action against New England.

European Union Army New England
The European Union Army New England or EUANE provides the land based defence of New England against external aggression. The EUANE consists of about 18,500 personnel and is comprised of mostly British, Dutch and German forces. At present, the EUANE has two bases New England that it shares with the New England Army, which are located at Bundarra and Deepwater.
European Union Navy New England
Consisting of just three ships (two frigates and a supply ship), the European Union Navy New England or EUNNE is a small force to compliment the Royal New England Navy (or RNEN) and assist it with training and deployment duties in the Tasman and Coral Seas. The majority of personnel in the EUNNE are from France and the United Kingdom. The EUNNE is based entirely out of HMND Limeburners, near Port Macquarie.
The naval presence of the EUFNE is considered to be somewhat weak, with the EUNNE using older vessels that act only as a deterrent to Australian and American aggression in the region. It is likely that in the event of a prolonged buildup, the EUNNE would be boosted by newer vessels from the main EU Navy. The three ships of the EUNNE are:
- FS Ventôse
- FS Vendémiaire
- HMS Usk
European Union Air Force New England
The smallest of the three services, the European Union Air Force New England or EUAFNE is charged with the defence of the airspace of New England, and compliments the Royal New England Air Force or RNEAF. EUAFNE consists of eight squadrons which are based in two locations at AFS Arrawatta and AFS Llangothlin.
The majority of personnel from the EUAFNE is comprised from the air forces of Germany and Sweden. Of the eight squadrons, two are bomber squadrons and six are fighter squadrons. All air and radar reconnaissance for the EUAFNE is provided by the RNEAF. Like the EUNNE, the EUAFNE uses older aircraft that would act to slow an incoming attack in the event of war. The main aggressive abilities lie with the RNEAF.
