His Highness, Prince Richard Williams (Richard Michael Thomas James), is the youngest child of King James II and Princess Amber. The prince was born in Macdonaldtown Hospital in Armidale on 28 February 2028. Prince Richard is currently sixth in line to the throne by the order of succession.
Educational Background
The Prince was educated at The Armidale School for all of his primary and secondary studies from 2033 to 2036. Richard excelled at Rugby and Australian Football, and his areas of study included Maths and Physics.
In 2037 it was annouced that the Prince would join the Army in 2038, but first he would complete a Diploma in Finance at Earle Page Polytechnic. This he completed with three High Distinctions and two Distinctions in December 2037.
Military Career
In January 2038, the Prince enlisted in the New England Army. He was trained at Martins Street Barracks, Armidale and had his passing out in July 2038. He then enlisted to become an officer and graduated with honours, and the rank of First Lieutenant in May 2039.
The Prince was later posted back to the Martin Street Barracks in Armidale to work as part of the Missile Defence System of New England. He is currently on secondment to the Ministry of Defence as the Head of Staff to the First Marshal of the Kingdom.
Engagement and Wedding
On 23 March 2046, the prince announced his engagement to Lady Elsa Wechsler, a descendent of the last Duke of Anhalt. The couple had met in Newcastle as part of International Expo of Sport. The Duke represented New England's Rugby Union Council.
The couple were married in the National Cathedral on 24 October 2047. The honeymooners traveled to Bali and Thailand and then onto Hong Kong, where they were received as guests by the President of China as part of a Trade Delegation to the People's Republic.
Children
The couple's first child was born on 15 May 2049 at St Vincent's Hospital, Grafton. He was named Edgar Michael David Alexander at a service conducted at Clarence House by the Rev. Claudia Daniels on 21 June 2049.
A second child was born on 30 December 2051, at Macdonald Hospital, Armidale. He was named John James Richard at a service conducted in the Chapel at Saumarez House by the Dean of Saumarez on 1 March 2052.
Patronage
The Prince is a patron of the Arts Council of New England and the Veterans Assistance Service. He is also president of the Civil War Veterans Association and Naval Returned Serviceman's Association.
