The Most Honourable Military Order of King Michael is the second of New England's two orders of chivarly. Founded by King James I in 2036, the order is specifically for members of New England Defence Force. It replaced the catergory of Officer of Order of New England, which had been established in 2012.

Knight Companions
The Order consists of the King, the Grand Master, and twelve companions deemed to have performed honourable service to the nation as a member of the New England Defence Force and it's supporting agencies. To date, the order has been awarded to former First Ministers, Minister of Defences and Chiefs of the Defence Force Staff, however, eligibility also extends to any member of the defence force.
