The Order of Servetus or OS is an award in the New England Honours System.
The order is named after Michael Servetus
, a remarkable man of study and scientific insights in medicine. His interests included many sciences, astronomy and meteorology, geography, jurisprudence, theology and the study of the Bible, mathematics, anatomy and medicine.
Past Recipients include Dr. David Orton, inventor of the treatment for Cystic Fibrosis and Rt. Rev. Harry Smith, who was the former chair of the Council for Religious Tolerance and a key player in the establishment of the Religious Organisations Consultation Council.
