Bishopscourt is a large house located on Kings Parade near the Saumarez Estate and National War Museum. The house is the official residence of the Unitarian Bishop of Armidale. Built by the Crown Estates Commission in 2020, Bishopscourt was initially known as South Lodge, and served as the home of Lucy Turner and her family until 2026, when they moved to Jeogla.
Today, Bishopscourt serves as the primary residence and working offices for the Bishop of Armidale of the Unitarian Church of New England. In popular usage, the term "Bishopscourt" is used for a metonym to refer to statements released by the Bishop of Armidale.
