Her Royal Highness Princess Christine, Dowager Duchess of Chandler (Christine Michelle Kate Williams), was the Princess Consort to His Majesty King Michael and is the mother of the current monarch, HM King James II. The Princess was born in Armidale on 17 May 1972, the youngest daughter of John and Elizabeth Wright of Wollomombi. The future princess met Michael Williams when she was eight years old, and two remained sweethearts throughout their teenage and would later marry in 1993.
Educational Background
Christine was educated at Chandler Primary School, Wollomombi from 1978 to 1984. In 1985 until 1988 she went to hugh school in Armidale, and received her School Certificate in 1988.
When she became Princess Consort in 2012, Christine embarked on completing her studies. She received the ACE in 2015, and received a Diploma of Finance and Administration in 2017.
Career
For most of her early adult life, especially in the 1990's and early 2000's, Christine was a housewife, although she was active in the local community at Wollomombi. When the Civil War broke out, Christine took her children to New Zealand and there she worked in a variety of basic jobs, mostly on farms around the city of Christchurch.
In 2011, she returned to New England and served beside her husband as consort for the remainder of his life. In 2036, when King Michael died, she retired to Jeogla Station, and oversaw the construction of a fine house on the Wollomombi run. She continues to assist the various public roles of her son, and often acts in his position at many functions when required.
Children
Christine Wright and Michael Williams were married on 15 August 1993 in the Armidale Baptist Church. There were four children from their marriage:
- HM King James I (James Michael Thomas Williams) 16 April 1994 - 8 December 2045, was the second King of New England, reigning from 30 January 2036 until 8 December 2045
- HM King James II (Edgar Christian Michael Williams) born 8 September 1996, is the current King of New England.
- HH Princess Lucy (Lucy Michelle Helen Williams) born 19 November 1999
- HH Prince Gavin (Gavin Frederick Keith Williams) born 31 October 2002.
Residence
The Princess spends the majority of her time in her own residence at Jeogla Station. Over summer, she and the rest of the family come together at Clarence House, Iluka.
