Her Royal Highness Princess Amber, Duchess of Chandler (Amber Lauren Tara Williams; born 3 March 2000), is the Princess Consort to His Majesty King James II. The Princess Consort was born in Gunnedah, and is the eldest child of Tony and Gina Johnson of Emerald Hill, near Gunnedah, Australia.
At the age of four, the future princess and her family moved to Grafton and became New Englanders. The Princess's father served as the second Earl of Clarence between 2017 and 2023.

Early Life
Her Royal Highness was educated at Grafton Primary School and later St Margaret's College in Christchurch, New Zealand. Upon completing her school studies, the future Princess Consort commenced study at the University of Canterbury. Her studies including Law and Finance.
She returned to Grafton in 2021, and it was on a sporting trip with the university Rugby side that she met the then Duke of Duval, Prince James.
Career
In a long and proud history of members of royalty becoming horseman, the Princess represented New England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Belfast. A proud nation watched as she rode her horse, Edward, to a bronze medal in the Three Day Event.
Her Royal Highness has remained an avid horseman, and currently maintains a stud at Jeogla Station.
Children
Amber Johnson and Prince Edgar were married on 6 June 2023 in the National Cathedral, Armidale. Subsequently, three children were born from the marriage:
- Crown Prince Alexander (Alexander Edgar Christian James) was born on 15 June 2025 in Armidale, and is heir apparent to the throne. Prince Alexander succeeded to the title of the Duke of Duval upon his father becoming King in 2045.
- Princess Kate (Kate Ashley Amber Christine) was born on 26 September 2026 in Grafton.
- Prince Richard (Richard Michael Thomas James) was born in Armidale on 17 July 2028.
Residence
The Princess spends the majority of her time with the King at Saumarez Palace, Armidale. Over summer, she and the rest of the family come together at Clarence House, Iluka.
Patronage
The Princess Consort is patron of a great number of charities, including:
- The Royal Childrens Hospital, Armidale
- The Juvenile Diabetes Trust
- The Royal Society for Conservation
- The Animal Rights Trust
Additionally, the Princess is also Chancellor of the New England National University. This is a role she has filled since 2043.
