The Ministry of External Affairs is the one of the four senior executive ministries of the kingdom. The role of the Ministry is to oversee and promote the interests of New England abroad. The ministry is responsible for managing New England's diplomatic relations, as well the interests of New Englander's traveling abroad through the Department of Foreign Affairs.

A separate department is the Department of European & Pacific Affairs, which manages the special relationship between New England and the European Union. The Ministry is is headed by the Minister for External Affairs, who is presently The Hon. Tony Moore.
