The Right Honourable Dame Antonia Louise Davidson, 1st Earl of Severnshire, KNE MM CMH EC (27 May 1978 - ), was the longest serving First Minister of New England from April 2020 until March 2024, and again from December 2026 until March 2032.
Davidson was initially a member of the United Party of New England, and her first term as First Minister was as a member of that party. However, on the 1 July 2025, United merged with the Social Democrats and Labour Party to form the Social Democratic Labour Party. Davidson joined the new party as leader and went on to become First Minister for the second time in December 2026.
Ministries
The First Davidson Ministry was the fifth Executive Ministry, and ran from the 13th April 2020 to the 4th March 2024. The ministry was a coalition government of the United Party, Social Democrats, Labour Party and Green Party.
