Severnshire is large county located in the mid-north of New England. The county town is Glen Innes. Like all of the northern counties, Severnshire has a strong Celtic heritage, with descendents of Scottish, Welsh and Irish settlers making up the majority of the population today.
Area & Population
Severnshire includes the Districts of Dundee, Gibraltar-Red Range and Wellingrove, the Towns of Emmaville and Glencoe and the City of Glen Innes.
In terms of population, Severnshire is smaller sized county, with a total population of 86,800 residents. Glen Innes is the largest centre with 74,523 people. Glencoe is second largest with 6,500 people. The smallest community is the District of Gibraltar-Red Range, which has just 950 residents.
Politics
Glen Innes was one of the first populated centres that rebelled early in the Civil War. Unlike almost every other county, Severnshire did not have a National Party Earl until 2024. The county is something of a bellweather, with the party that wins government going on to take the Earl's chair five months later.
At present the Nationals hold Severnshire comfortably, with three Thegns and the Earl. The SDLP has two Thegns and the Alliance one.
