Store Format

Richardsons stores are currently organised into a series of departments. These are as follows:

Richardsons stores vary greatly in size from the flagship store in Armidale to the smaller stores in locations such as Laurieton. Some such stores do not have a full range of departments.

A major source of business is concessions. These are 'shop-in-shops' which can be found in most Richardsons stores. The other major business source has been the introduction of branding into its menswear and ladies' wear lines. Local fashion designers have been able to make a serious name for themselves thanks to a showing at Richardsons.
