Sand Tide are a rock and pop group from Armidale. The band first came to be known in 2044, after the release of their debut single Nemesis. Since then, Sand Tide have gone on to become one of New England's most well known bands, with top fifty hits in New England, Australia, Europe and most recently, the United States. The band is made up of three members, Jim Kelly, Jason Cullen and Pete Howlett.

The band has never been far from contravesry, both in their lyrics and the actions of it's members. In 2051, Howlett and Cullen were caught in a pub fight in New York. The band has also been critised by the Council of Christian Faith as "a distraction to the innocence of youth" after the release of the single Sex Yourself in 2049. Despite this, the band has earned the respect of the music establishment, and continues to write #1 hits.
