RTNE Two is a major television in new England. Since it was established in 2022, the channel developed a reputation for screening highly praised and prestigious programmes. The network draws the largest market share of any in New England, with average ratings hovering around 27% of the total television audience.
RTNE Two was originally started as a second network for the national broadcaster, having succeeded ABC2 in 2014. The network features sport, drama, comedy and quiz shows, and indeed has always been seen as a home for less mainstream and more ambitious programming on the RTNE network. There are no news or current affairs programming broadcast on RTNE Two.
