RTNE One is the first and primary television channel of Radio Television New England, the publicly owned national broadcaster. Established as part of the Broadcasting Act 2013, RTNE One is the successor to ABC1, and was the first station launched by the new broadcaster when it went on air in February 2014.
Today, RTNE One is the principal public television channel in New England and offers a broad mix of news, current affairs, comedy, drama, games and quizzes, chat shows, children's, arts, as well as some educational and religious programmes.
